State Family Welfare Training Centre, R.D Wing, Lamphel, Imphal-West, Manipur

SFWTC was established in 1977 under MOH&FW as Regional Health and Family Welfare Training Centre(RH&FWTC). At the time of establishment, there was no proper building. The training centre was functioning normally at Porompat, Imphal-East(now being occupied as JNIMS Hospital Administrative block) from 1989 till 2008. The training centre was also functioning normally at Family Welfare Services, BT road, Imphal from 2011 to 2015. The present building of the Training Centre construction was started in 2012 and was completed and inaugurated on 24^thjune 2015 as State Family Welfare Training centre. Since establishment, the funding of this Training Centre is being done by central sponsored scheme through Family Welfare Services, Manipur. The objective of the Training Centre is mainly to improve the health care delivery system by imparting knowledge and technical skills at different levels. Along with the guidelines from central Ministry, the training for different courses included up-to-date different National Health Programs in collaboration with State Mission Director of NHM, Manipur. State Family Welfare Training Centre, Manipur is under the Directorate of Family Welfare Services, Manipur.
